Meredith Noon
Attorney
Meredith Noon opened her real estate law firm in November of 1998. A graduate of USC Law School, Meredith holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Duke University. Between degrees, she was in restaurant management, giving her a customer service based business approach that continues to set the firm apart today.
She and Steven A. Hammett, II formed Noon and Hammett, LLC in 2000 and currently have offices in both Greenville SC and Spartanburg SC. The Greenville office is headed by Meredith and supported by Leigh Wright, Cindy Bass, Susan Bennett, and Robin Natskakula. The team works together to carefully check titles, prepare real estate documents and handle residential and commercial closings for clients across South Carolina.
Meredith enjoys interacting with her clients in person, over the phone and via email with ‘TLC,’ enjoying the diverse people she is privileged to work with.
“People often think that real estate closings and work are boring because there is so much paperwork. But the folks sitting across the table are always different,” Meredith says, “making the practice interesting and fun!”
Her closings are tailored for the needs of the clients – allowing plenty of time for a first time home buyer to ask questions and feel comfortable while expediting the process for a savvy real estate investor.
The office environment is welcoming and clients are provided with assorted complimentary beverages of their choosing and can grab a snack if they are hungry. Her Golden Retriever, Rio, has been coming to the office since he was 8 weeks old and is often ‘working’ and available for some additional TLC upon request.
Real estate transactions, both commercial and residential, are the focus of the business. Both attorneys prepare and review documents relating to real estate such as deeds, contracts, leases, promissory notes, and mortgages.
The firm also has the ability to form LLCs (limited liability companies), and corporations for their clients.
